THE FLORA

The Flora is a multifamily project that transforms a historic Bedford school campus into a modern residential retreat. Thoughtfully designed apartments, serene courtyards, and the town’s first rooftop deck create a home where timeless character meets contemporary comfort.

The design narrative rises through the building. The ground floor reflects the forest floor with deeper, earthbound hues. The second floor shifts toward a greenhouse feeling with soft greens and airy neutrals. The top level opens into a light canopy, using blues and whites to echo sky and sunlight filtering through the trees.

Each courtyard is intentionally expressed in its own color palette to define the energy of the space. Warm tones invite residents to slow down and lounge, while cooler tones signal activity and movement, creating environments for games, play, and gathering.

The visual story unfolds through cohesive branding, interior details, and signage, highlighting the project’s balance of heritage, nature, and contemporary living.
